The World Health Organization defines mental health as a state of wellbeing, in which the individual realizes their abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and can contribute to their community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students undergo a major life transition as they prepare for high school and subsequently launch into the adult world. This transition is a moment when students become more aware and conscious of their surroundings and start their quest of finding meaning and purpose in life.<\/span><\/p>\n

The quest for meaning is an innate human need and our sense of purpose is the principal environment for fulfilling that need. When individuals are pursuing a profound purpose that is personally important to them, they experience significant positive effects.\u00a0 These outcomes include increased levels of commitment, empowerment, satisfaction, and a sense of fulfilment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Studies find that there is a strong connection between well-being and purposeful life. People who believe their activities are more meaningful also tend to be healthier. Through this project, students will attempt to collaboratively preserve this exciting journey through their words and photos and curate these moments into a larger overall picture of their lives.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]

This Requires a conscientious thought on how we produce and consume our everyday consumable items, especially the supplies of our wardrobes. Unlike the seventies and eighties, when most of the fashion items were themed classical and of high quality to endure through the years, the fashion designers now are campaigning trends of fast fashion. In the pursuit of higher sales and big profits, the fashion industry is diligently working for the availability of the latest fast trends at cheap costs. While there is no such thing as \u2018eco-friendly clothing\u2019, our giant footprints are posing a serious threat to environmental sustainability to the planet Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project will focus on the \u2018Sustainable Fashion Movement\u2019 that originated from Rachel Carson\u2019s book Silent Spring 1962 till it became a worldwide voice to follow sustainable fashion trends as the social responsibility. This approach is selected to reflect on the impact of our choices and to generate awareness to make decisions that endorse ecological integrity and social justice.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]

\nClick here<\/a><\/span> to download project proposal<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Beaconhouse Global Projects supports the Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) set by the United Nations (UN) in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\n

In edition III, the 3rd theme Let the World Breathe is based on SDG 15 that is Life on Land.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project will allow students to research and learn about the importance of forests, the concept of deforestation and the impact it has on our environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project aims to explore the devastating impacts of deforestation as the world is battling unprecedented, worldwide crisis on multiple fronts, from the demoralizing impacts of the coronavirus disease(COVID-19) pandemic to the ever-increasing impacts of climate change and a biodiversity crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n

This will allow the students to discover these multifaceted global challenges, which forests and forest-dependent people are facing. This will create awareness and will enable them to find some imperative and sustainable solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project will be a great learning experience for students through collaboration and cross-cultural exchange.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]

Project Name: Preserving the past for our future<\/h3>\n

\nClick here<\/a><\/span> to download project proposal<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]One of the main objectives of the Beaconhouse Global Projects is to prepare students to become problem solvers and innovative thinkers of the 21st century. This project is aligned with <\/span>SDG 9<\/b>, one of the most audacious goals of UNDP for the year 2030.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the importance of the handicraft industry has been acknowledged by the UN long before, however, this sector has undergone several challenges such as industrialisation and globalization, consequently, the artisans were incapable of competing with the well-organised industrial unit and had to sell their products at lower prices. Industrialisation changed the lifestyle and customers\u2019 needs, and as a result, handicraft products lost the market slowly.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Preserving the past for our future<\/i><\/b> has been narrowed down to study the market presence and sustainability of the indigenous craftsmanship, to spur the economic growth for this skilled labour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The project aims to enable students to analyse problems in the real world and study their dynamics in order to understand how skill and craft can be sustained for long-term economic growth.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]
