PEACE EXPEDITIONS: “INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE”

Project-1

A Society, Separated Not Severed: Campaign Against Violation of Human Rights

Our societies are separated. We ignore and remain unaware of issues other people are facing. We are divided, not united. Our project hopes to bring our communities together. We created a website with reliable information about these topics and a blog that provides our personal views on this topic. We made use of different types of social media: Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Our YouTube channel has multiple interviews with experts on these topics, as well as a cover song that depicts abuses.

podcastS for peace

Participants wrote articles to themselves understand the importance of peace and impact on their world.

In the next step, learners designed e-posters about the theme and uploaded on the social media forum. The first podcast was recorded with a columnist and poetess Mrs. Asma Azam, who is currently working in the UK.

Another podcast is scheduled with Ahmed Nawaz, survivor of APS attack. Learners did a broad-spectrum search on the topic and this project has helped them broaden their vision about peace.

Project-4

END VOILENCE, FEAR, TERROR, INJUSTICE AND ABUSE

Peace is a concept of social friendship and harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. In a social sense, peace is meant a lack of conflict (such as war) and freedom from fear of violence between individuals or groups. Peace is the bold, courageous and ultimate response to the nation that violence provides any viable solution for the conflict of our world. Where war destroys and tears apart, peace builds, strengthens and restores.

That’s exactly the motive of this project  .In this Project, we are going to address how “SDG-16”is committed to ensure the promotion of peace in every society. This would be done in a form of a “PODCAST”, to make it convenient for everyone out there, who have busy schedules and cannot sit and watch a video. A podcast would be a more appropriate as anyone can listen to it anytime.
